What we're building
A collection of carefully written relocation and everyday-living guides, honest regional introductions, practical housing and renovation advice, and eventually a moderated directory of relevant local businesses.
Who writes and maintains these guides?
Bulgaria Compass editorial, operated by PluginPip Ltd. Our current guides are produced and maintained by the project editorial team. We do not publish invented personal biographies, credentials or first-hand residence experiences. Each changing-rule guide links to official sources; corrections and substantive source reviews will be recorded separately from website software updates.
Public development roadmap
- Now, public website: free UK-to-Bulgaria guidance, country and village research, practical checklists and calculations, with a planned accessibility and accuracy audit.
- As part of ongoing reviews: verified site search, editorial dates, corrections process, privacy checks and security review.
- Later, subject to verification: moderated listings, local services and fixed-fee advertising clearly labelled and kept separate from independent guides.
These are planned priorities, not release dates or promises of endorsement.
Who operates it?
Bulgaria Compass is a working brand operated by PluginPip Ltd, a UK technology company. The brand name is independent, and this website is currently a public information resource.
Our editorial approach
- Make complex subjects easier to understand without pretending to replace specialist advice.
- Use authentic, appropriately licensed Bulgarian photography and name real locations.
- Distinguish research, estimates and opinions from verified prices or legal requirements.
- Show official sources on important immigration, healthcare and property topics.
- Clearly label any advertising, sponsored material or commercial relationships.
What we don't do
We are not an estate agency, immigration adviser or legal practice. There are no live property adverts or transactions in this demo. Future property advertising, if approved, would involve independent advertisers communicating directly with visitors, without Bulgaria Compass arranging viewings, negotiating sales or forwarding enquiries.
Corrections and future participation
Reader corrections can be submitted now; the business directory remains closed to new applications pending verification controls. The live feedback form records reader corrections and questions with a reference; automatic email alerts are not yet available.
